If you are a teacher you may have found yourself in a situation where there is a wide range of abilities within one class. This can make lesson planning a little more difficult s you need to ensure that there is work for everyone at the correct level.
Ideally you want to split the class in to smaller groups to allow you to give each group a separate task. This way you can go round to each group and speak to them about the task in hand.
Some teachers also get the pupils to work in pairs, putting someone that is at a higher ability level with someone that has a lower level to allow the pupils to learn from another.
If you have a teaching assistant working with you then you could ask them to take one group of pupils to dedicate more time to them and help them understand what they need to do.
